Default Well , this newbie is trading his Mustang GT vert on a C6 coupe

Yes, , I always wanted a C6. I have normally done the euro sports car thing, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes. But I was craving an American V8. I love the Mustang , but it,s not the two seater feel I'm use to and I was going to invest $7000 in a supercharger for more power. It did not make financial sence ,since I would not get my money back if I sold it . Even my wife told me , maybe I should trade up. Gotta love the wife for that . so I am getting a 06 , 5-speed, silver W/red leather. I have always liked the older vettes, but I have not been a fan till the C6 came out. I'm pretty excited about it

Welcome to the fold.

You will never tire of the color combination, either.

Just remember not to be driving around the roads like a Mustang driver when you're in your new car...

You're a lucky man to have a wife who thinks the way she does. Congrats on your Vette!

My wife insisted that I "move up" to a 'Vette as well. After 12 Mustangs, I've now had two 'Vettes! You will NEVER look back, trust me.....

There is a guy who lives near me who has poured a fortune into his new horse. Supercharger, tune, wheels, rims, the Eleanor look......

He is hoping to get into the 12's. What a hoot. Anyways, he keeps taking these long looks (when he thinks I'm not looking) at my C6. He is smart enough to know that with some minor mods like kooks and a tune I can probably see 11's. Unfortunately he was not smart enough to buy a C6.

The C6 stands alone. You made the right choice.

Thanks everyone. I just drove the Vette 3 hours from Cleveland. Lucky, there was no snow and dry roads. Man, these cars are FAST. I accidently shut of the traction control, and Holy S***. The thing was spinning wheels like nobodys business. LOVE IT. Thanks for the support.
