Default A-pillar

I moved topic here to see if anyone could help with this questiom. Thanks!!

I purchased set set of A-pillars from a forum vendor so I can get someone to mold me some tweeter enclosures.
Anyone know how to remove the interior A-pillar from a 09 Corvette C6 coupe. I see that it is clipped on at the top, but the bottom?

Tying to remove to send out to get tweeters molded.
Thanks

I believe you need to remove what is called the Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel first. This is the piece that runs down the side near the hinge. This piece snaps over the A-piller. It unsnaps at the top and at the bottom.

The interior A pillars are very easy to remove. You literally just pull back on them and you will hear the clips releasing. I would suggest removing the little door trim pieces that hold the bottom Apillar clip in. Don't be afraid to really pull back on the Apillar it will just release.

I just did this last weekend. I'm working on a project with my A-Pillar. I can take some pictures with it removed tomorrow if you want to see. Pull the little trim piece out by the door. Then pull the top of the pillar till it pops out. There is a velcro section where it meets the dash. I had to give it a good tug to get it out of there. Like everyone else said, don't be afraid to pull hard.
