Just curious about how they attach. What would happen it they came loose inside of a spinning wheel at highway speed.

These have a a U shaped clip to attach, once attached they cannot come off the caliper, unless you remove.

It looks like these covers are probably made by MGP.
If that's the case - Here's a video I found showing how the calipers are installed:

They DO NOT fit aftermarket spyders, unless you cut off a 1/4 inch off the inside ( closest to the center of the rotor). There is a slight rubbing unless you do this. The do look great in satin silver against chrome.

You sure? I was thinking about getting these but just bought spyders in c6 sizes. Cut a 1/4 inch off what?

1/4 off the lower portion of the caliper cover where it curves in.The area closest to the center of the disc. The rears are fine I just installed mine. After putting them in a vice to flatten that portion out,it still rubbed a little. I decided to cut 1/4 off and file it down. Turned out pretty good. I still have to do the other side. My aftermarket spyders are from WCC. Maybe yours will fit a bit different than mine. I will try to post pics when I'm done.

Just ordered a white with black lettering caliper cover kit.

Also ordered the 4 piece side marker black-out kit

Should be nice addition to a white C6

Just CAN"T pull the trigger for those 4,000 wheels!
