Default Engine Bay Cleanup Pics

I've been piddling in the engine bay for the last couple of days... installed the oil catch can and did a general cleanup... just took some pics for grins:















Thanks for looking... try as she might, the wife could care less about the engine comparment - nice to share pics with friends who are interested

Very nice, and to drive that home I went out and popped the hood on mine. Still stone cold stock under the hood contrast and compare, you put in a real effort and it shows.

How do you guys keep under the hood so clean....engine shampoo??? can you put a power washer or a light spray with a ehose in there??

Iam guessing if you use water you cover some of the area with plastic.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I never use water in the engine compartment, but do use a variety of products:


The secret to keeping your engine compartment clean is to wipe it down frequently and don't let it get away from you. I actually enjoy spending a cold Sunday afternoon in the garage with a football game on the TV, Crown Royal on the rocks, and the hood open tinkering/cleaning.
