Cyber Gray Easy to keep clean?
Is Cyber Gray easy to keep clean looking? I had a black one once, and swore never again. I like Cyber Gray, but being a dark color I'd like to know if it's hard to keep clean, detail, etc. Thanks

Any darker color is going to be harder to take care of and show more dust than choosing a lighter color. Even VR shows a TON of dust. The metal flake in the CG is going to help some in deflecting some of the dust from showing..............but as dark as it is it is going to be a chore...still, if you love the color, it is going to be a lot easier to take care of than black....

My last C6 was black and I agree keeping it clean was a career. I now have a '09 Cyber Grey and it does not show the dirt. Much easier to keep clean.

i had a black IROC back in the day, and even though i loved that car it was impossible to keep clean. I said never again. I would say that Cyber Gray is no harder to keep clean than Spiral Gray of the previous generation was. It's a great looking color and the metal flake shows a hint of blue in it, those of you expecting cyber gray babies soon REJOICE! YOU ARE GOING TO ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS COLOR!!!

I have a black one and yes it's a huge hassle to keep clean. It's no different than one in Artic White. But when they are clean they are beasts. If I could do it all over again, I would go with Cyber Gray...

I've seen the Cyber Grey, and those are beautiful!! Mine is black and it's true that keeping it clean is a challenge, but personally I don't mind doing it. My buddy that owns a basic grey BMW says he only cleans his car once every 6 months whether it needs it or not......that should tell you something.

After a 500 mile road trip through rain and other road elements mine still looked fairly clean. CG hides dirt pretty well for a darker color and looks beautiful clean and gleaming in the sun

I've owned Black for 25 years but bought a Carbon Metallic (which is close to CG) GMC Acadia only because for some unknown reason GMC doesn't offer it in Black. It is very easy to keep clean and dirt is far less harder to detect. Unfortunately I hated the color and traded it for a White Diamond 2010 Acadia and had the cladding painted to match.

My CTS is the Chromaflair Thunder Gray and hides dirt very well. The only way you know it's dirty is by streaks on the windshield or fingerprints on the trunk. Compared to the black GTO I had, the gray is easy to take care of.

I have been driving my 09 CG Coupe after the snows out here in Colorado and even with all the dust from the sand they use instead of salt out here the car looks clean from anything more than a few feet away. On the other hand my wife has an Onyx black 08 Vue Redline and if I wash and leave it in the garage over night there will be a coat of dust on that thing that can almost be seen from space.LOL
