Default noteable design changes 2005 C6 to 2010

Just sold my C5 now looking at a mint 2005 can anyone identify noteable engineering or design changes from 2005 to the 2010 model besides the XM wart antenna on the roof or even things to beware of on the 05.

Only going to list cosmetic changes that I know about:

Most obvious on the exterior will be different wheels (the newer style "Gumby's" are fatter toward the lip, vs the hub)

Most obvious interior change will be the center console now being a carbon fiber finish instead of gray/silver, there is a new, slimmer steering wheel with one fewer spoke. The autos also have a different shift ****.

Not to mention the newer cars have a bigger motor (LS3).

There is now a 4lt option that was not available at the beginning of the run which has most of the interior wrapped in real leather, and mostly two toned if I am not mistaken.

Not the most detailed answer, but these are what I know to be the largest changes

Pardon me if I am very wrong guys

The auto's have a completely different transmission (06-up: 6 speed auto, 05: 4 speed auto) the manuals also have a different transmission. Steering has also been changed(lighter feel). ) 07's and up can also get two tone seats.

I meant to add to my post that I was only noting cosmetic changes. Thanks for the addition though

Exterior wise: Wheels, but that means nothing because many owners change them anyway. The wart you mentioned, if the car has XM. Little chicklets, that many remove anyway. Other than that...nothing I can think of!
Interior: Dash materials, steering wheel, AT ****, and availability of 2-tone seats. 99% of the world could not tell the difference between and 05 and an 2010. Read other post and you will find, many people can't even tell the difference between a Z06 and a base vette and there are many cosmetic differences between them!

Too many goodies added in 2008 to even consider the earlier models IMO.

There are a series of teething troubles with the '05's that you should be aware of. Especially the manuals. The two biggies might be the roofs separating (not only '05's), and dead batteries. Be sure and do a forum search for these engineering defects. Try and get your prospective car's repair history, and also really consider an extended warranty if possible.

The problem with corvettes are not when they brake down. It's the fact that GM can't fix them! I have had several vettes, two 05 C6's now and they are pretty reliable. The problems I have had are fairly small, but GM service sucks! I'm sure many of owners have had some good service, but unfortunatly, many have not. Bad batteries, roof problems, rear end noises all some of the problems, yet GM continues to try an put band-aids on our cars in stead of fixing them right. Having a good dealership, that's able to fix a car is the trick. I have yet to find one in my area.

I got lucky with the small dealership in the small town (pop. approx. 17K) where I live. I had 3 medium-sized problems with the last two C6s I've had. Radio went out on one, shifter went out on one, and one had the rear axle fluid problems. Dealer fixed all three on GM's dime.
