That's an apples and oranges comparison....

I think this is the wrong forum to ask, as we're all C6 biased.... And in my case with a Z06, there is no comparison at all.....

The two cars are completely different animals. You might just as well compare an apple with a donkey.

Dont know why you guys dismiss the comparison, they're very much comparable. V8 with 436hp v V8 with 414hp. Very close performance #'s.

You're absolutely correct, sir.....

I just love my backseat.... I wouldn't know how I'd manage without it....

Should I keep going??? I love my sports cars to have two seats, four wheels, five hundred horses, six speeds and eight cylinders.... "Nuff said....

I'll take the time to ask one question: why? Why bother? They're not the same, and you know it, if you own a Corvette. But if you want to own a m3, follow him (oh, yeah, I have no idea why he's posting on CF either):

"Nuff Said" really? thats a pretty immature teenager saying from at least 15 years ago. Why is it so difficult for some to disagree like adults. Heres something that you might find interesting.

They felt that the cars are comperable even though one has a back seat and one doesnt. And if thats not good enough heres some data I pulled up. Courtesy of R&T.
---------C6===M3
0-60 - 4.3 == 4.3
1/4m - 12.6== 12.7
0-100- 9.5 == 10
braking- 119 == 116
skid - .93 == .93
slalom- 69.2== 71

The Corvette and BMW match up pretty well in many different competions. Yes one is plastic,made in USA,and a true Sports car and the other isnt but they are similar in more ways and a good comparable opponent for the Corvette.

The M3 is 400lbs heavier. The C6 wins in every performance category.

So somebody does not agree with you and, they do not act like a adult?

Give us a list of cars that other members must like to keep you happy then. Before you do. I think the M3 is rather plain and, somewhat a fem car. But, hey your a adult and, you would never post anything like that.

That's because you don't know how to drive a Corvette. If you did you wouldn't say what your saying and embarrass yourself like this.. Sorry but your so wrong BTW the M3 are great cars but for me I just love our American cars..

Small cars are very nimble as is a go-kart.

First of all, I never said the BMW was better than the Vette. I said They are comparable. And you didnt look at the R&T #'s I posted did you? The M3 nudged the Vette in a couple of tests in that comparison.

Never said anyone has to like the car, we can agree to disagree. The #'s dont lie. And you're entitled to your opinion. If you think the M3 is plain and a "fem" car thats cool with me.

In my opinion the M3 is more of a woman's car. The Corvette is more historical in American sport circles and the BMW is more European and therfore bland in design and performance. Ladies will love the fit and feel of the M3 because of shopping trunk capacity but the Vette is more able to perform to USA standards that always can out perform the foreign competition.

It has been proven that the BMW line of cars resemble many Korean and other Taiwan produced autos that are now getting more popular in the US. Kimco is a typical example in the motor bike line.

Fair enough.

Maybe I jumped the gun. Sometimes the so called car guys go the route with your not a car guy if you do not like the car they like. That was my point.

Try a test drive in both. I'm quite certain you will see and, feel the difference not only in the way the car feels and, performs. You will also see many other differences which will be clear once you drive them both.

Just so happens I own a 600bhp C6 and a BMW 135i. Love em both but I had to choose.....See ya Bimmer.

But I also dont have Vette tunnel vision and can see the good in other quality machinery.

I see your point. My tunnel vision never stops me from being honest. I like many cars most are American but, some foreign also. BMW makes some great vehicles. I very much like the 6 & 7 series cars.

I guess that I just don't think they are comparable because one is a sports car and one is a sedan. Doesn't matter how much horsepower either one has...
