Default Filters for 2005

I need to purchased a cabin filter and air filter for my 2005.
Need part #s and who may have the best deal.

I don't know part # but Purolator makes only one for the Corvette with charcoal in it for $12.00. Pep Boys, Kragen

I just did mine Sunday. All 3. Called Advance Auto told them what I wanted they got them in one day and about 40 bucks with tax.

Go to your local NAPA or auto parts store and get what you need.You'll save a ton.

Cabin filter is Purolator- C25623 about $12.00 pep boys/advanced auto Parts (see similar post discussion today)
Air filters (2)- At Wal Mart Fram about $15.00 total for both

Note that there are 2 kinds of cabin filters that explain the vast disparity in pricing. The OEM one is a thicker carbon/charcoal filter . . .the less expensive one is a basic paper filter- not a bad thing, but not the type installed by the factory.

Guess it's up to the user to decide whether it's worth the extra bucks.

The Purolator for $12.00 is charcoal exact same as factory putting them next to each other.
