How much does the C6 door weigh??
I am going to be doing some body work & gonna be removing both doors. Just curious how much does the C6 door weigh?? I Googled it but came up with nothing.

It's been awhile but seems like 65 pounds for a complete door. Could be wrong though. I easily picked it up with no problem.

I'll try to remember to ask my friend tomorrow. He recently went on a weight reduction rampage on his C6 track car. Besides replacing both doors with 'shell' doors (inside supports drilled wherever possible), he replaced both OEM seats with one racing seat; removed all carpeting and insulation; replaced his OEM hood with a louvered hood and replaced the rear hatch glass with a Lexan window. I believe he weighed every component that came off the car. He'll know for sure what the door weighed.
