Default Two Tone Ebony/Cashmere Seat Covers INSTALLED!

I was going to install them myself, but didn't have time so had a local upholstery shop do it. I"m happy with the outcome!

Looks great. The cashmere with the VY is a terrific combo and the two-tone really makes it pop.

Thanks, guys! The cover are OEM GM Two Tone Covers from Partstaxi.com. I think they went to two tone for 4lt interior in 2008.

Yes and no. What you have is the 2 tone Cashmere that first became available in MY2007. The 4LT added a Cashmere option this year, but there is a difference in the headrest embroidery. The 3LT and 2LT 2-tone seats have the emblem in red, white, and black, whereas in the 4LT the emblem is embroidered in a monotone gray.

Your seats look great!

You and I seem to be on the same schedule (two toning) with one exception...your installer got it right. I also had my two tone covers installed today. The seat bottoms had to be made because of my car being Steel Gray...he did a nice job on them. He just installed OEM back covers (from Parts Taxi also). Can you see the screw up on the seat backs? I'll be returning to the upholsterer tomorrow morning. It's hard to find good help now days!

ap:

I didn't think I would have to, but now that I see it, I guess I'll have to "two tone" the console cover also.

Correct...I swear, I cannot have anything done anymore without something going wrong...it gets frustrating sometimes.

Is the quality of the leather any better on the 4LT covers?

Dude, I know exactly what you mean. It seems like quite often, probably 5 out of 6 mods I do, something goes wrong. At this point, it seems like he did a good job. Time will tell, but he has always done great work for me in the past. Yours look good, with the exception of the airbag placement. Hope it gets corrected without much problem.

Thanks...I'll find out tomorrow. I'm entered in a "Corvette's only" show on Sunday so I hope he doesn't give me any crap. This same guy did the seats and carpet on my '65 Coupe a few years ago and did a fantastic job so I really don't expect any grief from him, but it just seems lately...well, you know.

Your car does look good. I've been following your progress here on the forum and you've done a nice job with your car. Nice mods and not tacky...the right amount of the right stuff.

Thanks very much, I appreciate the compliments. I'm going to the Lone Star Classic in DFW and supposedly there's like 1000+ vettes there on this weekend.

As far as the right amount of stuff, I have to admit, I overdone the interior at first with a little too much yellow, but I toned it down and went with yellow stitching only on some pieces. I'm very happy with the way it has turned out at this point.

Yours is looking great too. Good luck!
