Installed Fender Hash Marks - Still Unsure!!!!!
I got some fender hash marks today that I purchased at the Lone Star Classic last week in Dallas/Fort Worth. The install, of course, wasn't as easy as advertised, but I got them on. I'm still unsure whether I should keep them on or not.
I like the look, but just not sure it goes with my car. Any opinions would be helpful. I bought both sides, but I haven't decided if I'm going to install the second side, what do you guys think overall? Thanks:

I have been on the fence with the stripes issue myself. I like them on some of the Vettes I see but on the other hand after looking at them awhile they just do not seem to flow with the lines of the car. They end so suddenly on the fender, and they start looking just like they are two stripes stuck on the fender with no overall connection/theme if that makes sense. Do they look good on your Vette yes, would I like them each and everyday no. Not much help I am afraid.

Ya, it's not that I dont like it, I"m just not crazy about it with that "I Love the way that looks" attitude! Just don't know if I should keep them or not.

I like them looking across from the pass. side when you just see the tops. I agree with other poster....if you can post up a side and 3/4 shot from farther away with the whole car in the shot so we can see how they flow with the bodylines better...

Im not a fan of any stripes on a car especially slanted stripes on the fenders. Yeah yeah I know thats how the old GS came but to me stickers are just cheesy and they take away from the amazing clean lines of the vette.

They look good...
But I really think you are questioning the COLOR .... ??
// And why don't they extend to the hood. For which I think they would look a heck of a lot better, yes...

Yeah, I don't know what it is but they seem too short in length. Maybe it's just because yellow is IN YOUR FACE while the black and silver are a bit of a contrast.

I went ahead and installed the other side. I figured I'd go with them for a while and if I get sick of them or decide they're not for me, I can always take them off!
Here is a better view you guys were asking about:

As far as only going halfway across the fender, that's the way the new GS is and I kinda liked it rather than going all the way across. Overall, I'm ok with it, but we'll see, I may scrap them altogether, may not, who knows???

I love the black with silver trim colors that match your interior, but it seems to me the gap between them is too wide which makes them look short. Looking at GM's the gap is much narrower. Did they come together with that much gap?.

Ya, that's the way they came with the gap. We'll see how it goes. I definitely like the color combo. I think the silver goes good with the wheels and the black goes good with the yellow, but I'll just have to see. They're easy enough to take off

I don't know. Now before you think I'm a decal or stripe hater look at my avatar. To me, the stripes are too much of a dark color in one spot. I think they would work better if the splitter and side skirts were black.
