I too am very satisfied with the size of the trunk in my 09 Vert. When the top is up the trunk is REALLY HUGE when you fold down the partition. I can even go to Costco and buy a lot of groceries and it all fits easily when the top is up. When I am going on a trip, I pack my trunk in a similar way as you and the trunk always closes just fine.

Not as much room as my 02 coupe.....but I wouldn't trade the fun of my 08 Vert for the extra space....

The luggage is just plain black duffle bags that a friend embroidered on her Bernina machine. The trunk latch is just the trunk latch...nothing extra there. The Corvette Racing logo can be purchased as an embroidery pattern for a few dollars on many websites, put on a USB key and plug it into a Bernina and go.

I recently went from an 08 coupe to a 10 vert and really like the trunk. As mentioned above there's a surprising amount of space with the top up and the divider folded down. I like the fact that everything is hidden and doesn't cook in the sun.

My only dislike is the fact that I need to either slam the lid or press firmly above the latch to close. I wish they'd include the power latch the coupe has... This is my first convertible ever, and nothing beats the feeling of rolling down the road with the top down!

There is amazing room in the C6 convertible. It's a cave compared to the trunk on our 350z convertible. Both are easy to pack as we've got "custom fit" luggage for both courtesy of a little measuring and a trip to J.C. Penney.

LOL!!! Here in South Texas in the summer the only thing that would beat driving with the top down would be driving in Hell. It is so miserably brutal HOT down here in the summer I can't even imagine driving a convertible with the top down!!! I'd probably burst into flames!!!

You guys that live in areas you can drive with the top down in the summer are very lucky indeed!
