Default Car covers for winter storage

I live in Minnesota and for winter storage I will be using my garage. It is heated to 50 degrees in the winter. What do you think of the car covers. I am also kicking around the plastic bubble with the fan. It costs no more than some of the covers. I own a new 2010 Grand Sport convertible corvette. Thanks for your input. Dennis

I just bought a cotton cover from these guys, all they had was red left. Great price made by coverking.

There's an optional add-on for a battery tender on the same circuit as the fan that keeps it inflated.

If it'd be helpful, I can inflate my car capsule and snap some pics.

Up until a couple years ago, I've had the form fitting ones for several cars. Since getting the C6 convertible, I decided to get a generic thick cover. It works, it's inexpensive and if I ever don't like it, I'm out a big 36 bucks.

I had a Wolfe soft lined cover for my Navy Blue C5 and it was great. Provided some protection against any accidental touches and kept the dust off it.

I bought a soft lined cover from one of the bigger aftermarket houses in the midwest thinking it was the same as the Wolfe. Pulled it out of the bag and put it on my new Victory Red coupe and it looked like I had parked in a lint storm.

Go with a well known product or one that is recomended by others.

I live in Illinois and also have a 2010 GS convertible. I bought a factory cover from the dealer,it's a litlle pricey but looks good. I previously had a cotton cover and every time iI removed it I had to clean the threads off of the convertible top. My new cover has a microfiber inside so I don't have that problem anymore.
It's definitly the way to go.

Hey, it's still July. Winter storage talk is depressing.
I have a satin stretch cover (Cover King) with felt lining. Only put in on the car when clean.
If the car is in the garage - at any time of year - it's on the car.

Been using California Car Coves since mid 80s. (3 Vettes 1 camero 1 show quality PU truck, at different times)

My cars are stored inside in a unheated garage underr the house. I have found that if you have kids or pets or work in your garage get a heavy cover as it does help prevent bumps and O SH** incidents!

Cover for my 07 Vette came from Coverking. I use a battery tender/maintainer on the car during the winter months or when the car will not be driven for 2-3 weeks.

Uh, I just run ours through the touchless car wash in the Spring to gently remove most of the dust and dirt, then do a careful hand wash. Works for me. Price is right, too.

Default carcapsule

I am thinking of getting a car capsule but my question is if I can operate a battery buddy with it, what about the faint fumes that charging releases from the battery do to the car?? Also, are you sure I can get an extra plugin for the charger? Thanks. Dennis

Thanks

That's a great cover especially for the price.

Another indoor favorite is the satin stretch.
