What is the widest tire you can put on a base corvette?
Hello, I just had a few questions regarding tire size. I'm wanting to know what's the widest tire you can put on a base corvette and what's the widest tire you can fit if the car is lowered. Also, if I go wider, do I need to have the computer programmed for the new tire size? Thanks and have a good day

If you go to 10" wide wheels in front and 11" in back, you can run 285/325 and fit under the stock fenders.
+1 for using Search, this is a very thoroughly discussed topic.

There is a member that put a 325 on the rear and he is lowered, said he had no rubbing issues. A popular choice is either 295 or 305, but is necessary to run and 11" rim in the back.
Good luck!

I had Pilots PS2's on my stock rims in sizes 265f/305r lowered on coilovers and no issues at all, however they did look much better(perfect fit) once I changed the rims to 9.5 front and 11 rear.

I have 315s on 20x11 rear wheels but there are a few with 325s. You will also need wheels with the correct offset to run 325s.
Changing width doesn't matter its the diameter that will affect the computer.
