Default Does anyone sell a RUBBER REAR CARGO MAT?

I use my car as a daily driver - And, haul my Chow-Chow around amoung MANY, MANY other things that I can't mention because you will only "Cringe"... Ha, Ha...

I have been looking for someone who makes a FULL-SIZE Sturdy Rubber mat that covers the entire cargo area. Would make sucking up dog hair and other stuff alot easier and more convieninet for me.

I wanted to ask before I go down to the truck shop and get one of those 1/2" thick rubber mats that go into the bed of a truck. Then, cut-it to fit.

I would rather find one already made... (Lazy that way).... Ha, Ha..

Thanks.

Weathertech.com has what you're looking for. It's not cheap but they are custom fitted and very sturdy. I have them for when I take the vette out in winter months.

not sure if this is what you may want. Also could be a forum vendor that carries these.

MAN - I must not know how to "Google" correctly... I swear I didn't find anything like this. This is GREAT....

Xedes - Is the WEATHERTECH sturdy or "Flimsy" feeling? It looks AWESOME - But, worried that it may be too thin and start curling in the heat, etc.... I will call the manufacturer and see what the thickness is. Looks GREAT... (May cut the lip off though....)

corvettemods1 - I went to the site and did not see an all-weather one. Could you PM me the link please.

Thanks guys... I was about to go to the tractor supply and get a 4'x6' rubber horse stall mat and cut it to fit... TOO much work for me. Well worth $100 to keep my dogs hair from "Sticking" to the carpet EVERYDAY. Ha, Ha

Thanks again.

I have the WeatherTech rear cargo mat, I'm sure you will find it quite adequate.

Someone claimed that the Weathertech rubber mat made his car smell like a tire store, but most people seem happy.

I use a Lloyds mat; take it out, shake & vaccuum occasionally. It has a rubber backing and is semi-waterproof, for small quantities. But really grungy stuff would probably ruin it.

From a dog owners point of view the Block It noise suppression mat is a softer mat that your dog may not be as apt to slide around on. Good luck in getting your Chow in the back end.

Well, after a good nights sleep - I decided to go with the Loyds rubber mat because it is 1/4" thick and has no lip around the edge. Just will seem to work better for my applications.

Thanks to everyone who answered - And, especially the Supporting Vendors.

Also, my Chow gets in from the drivers seat - I used to "Lift" him into the back - Then, realized: "Hell, just jump in...." Ha, Ha...

Next is a simple seat cover for the drivers side - Probably just make one that covers the seat bottom and not the back.

Does either one of these mats have any "grip" ?
Trying to keep my samples, books, etc. from sliding around in the cargo area.
