Just went back to it and there is a very faint buzzing sound when I push the Start,Acc,Stop switch and the brake pedal is very stiff?
I did the same thing in my garage out back of my house. I forgot about the release cable at the back of the vette so I called my wife and daughter to let me out with the extra set of keys. They laughed so hard and told everyone about it and they have made it a town joke about this. What is so funny I did it the second time my battery went down, but I found the release cable this time. Funny feeling, syswayne

No, but a friend of mine whose 05 coupe was the 25th Vette he's owned did that.

He called his son-in-law on his cell phone to come and get him out.

He kept the car about 5 years and only put 1600 miles on it, then sold it to his daughter.

Is that emergency release lever going to work if the window won't drop down?

So you could have crawled into the back to get to that release cable? You do know about the levers?

Yes, you can get the door open without the windows indexing. Closing is more of a problem.

This just happened to my girlfriend. I got out to talk to other Corvette owners at a meet. She got locked in and yes, she had her FOB with her. She said she tried the door open buttons, tried using the FOB itself...all nothing. She forgot about the emergency handle and she did not try the ignition. I put a new battery into the FOB when we got home later that evening but have not been able to duplicate it even before replacing the battery.

Peace, out.
You should try that sometime.

Kicking out a closed window is extremly hard unless you have something metal and hard to hit it with.

Seriously though, my wife thought she was locked in the car a couple of times when I walked away with the fob, but now she knows to push the unlock button on the door. No more "trapped" in the car.
