Hey guys,

We take your T56 or TR6060 transmission and turn it into a Super-Strong-Smooth shifting, one of our custom built TR6060's with all the Newest 2012 Tremec Aftermaket Upgrades, and we modify the internal shifting levers...

All Internals are Brand New, Including the New Front Cover Plate with the huge input shaft bearing, not reused used parts..!!

Our T56 to TR6060 Change-over units have a much greater Hp/Tq capacity than any Custom Built T-56 can handle...It does not matter if its a Level 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 Built T56, it will NEVER be able to handle the power a TR6060 can..

Some of you may have heard about the shifting issue's the OEM 08-12 Z06's, GS's & ZR1's have...You will not have that with our units..
All of our custom built Change-Over-Units have all the Upgrades that Tremec offers the aftermarket for TR6060's, PLUS you get Carbon Rings in 1st/3rd/4th and the Synchro's in 1/2 & 3/4 have been Updated also from 08-12 years...Plus remember that ALL OEM GM Tr6060's ONLY have Carbon Rings in 2nd Gear!!!

Plus our units will shift like butter...

Corvette T56 C5's C6's & Z06's from 1997-2007
We can take any Corvette T56 C5's C6's & Z06's from 1997-2007 and Change it into a TR6060, and it will bolt directly into your Corvette without any customization(Plug-N-Play), if you have the lube option on your C6 or Z06 it will come with a Brand New Front Cover Bump Plate from a 2012 TR6060, which has the huge front input shaft bearing...All your pump lines and fittings will fit perfectly, they will be in the exact same spots as the unit you take out of your car...Just pick your Gear Ratio Poison from the list below...

**RIGHT NOW we are offering FREE LUBE PUMPS w/ALL CORVETTE CHANGE OVERS TO TR6060's**

1998-02 F-body's & 2004-06 GTO's T56 Trans
We can do the exact same thing to any 1998-2002 F-body T56 Trans, Change it into a TR6060 with all the Upgrades mention above...
Just pick your Gear Ratio Poison from the list below...

The same goes for any 2004-2008 Cadillac CTSV....

You can pick from any of these ratio's...
RATIO OPTIONS
C6 ZR1 Unit Ratio 2.29 1.60 1.21 1.00 .84 .67
Exchange Special Price $4195

C6 Z06 Unit Ratio 2.66 1.78 1.30 1.00 .75 .50 OR .80 .63
Exchange Special Price $3595

C6 Z51 Unit Ratio 2.97 2.07 1.43 1.00 .74 .50 OR .80 .63
Exchange Special Price $3595

Also we highly recommend using our specially formulated Manual Transmission Fluid...Its $19.99 per qt...Takes 5 quarts...

Shipping, Handling & Insurance (In the lower 48 states) $159-$199...We pay for the Return Freight on your Core!!!

Core Charges will range between $750-$1000, depends on type of T56, once we receive your core back, you will be refunded the core charge...You have 15 days to return your core...

Call Mike Yeager to place your order Mon-Sat 9am-8pm est...Sun 1pm-7pm est...

Thanks for your interest..

We accept Visa, MC, Disc, Paypal, Cashiers Check & Direct Deposit..!!!

Mike, I have an 08 with the Z51 TR6060 and am considering s/c'ing. I would like to go to ZR1 gears, is that something you can do? What would the ballpark $$ be?

Any thoughts on the performance/drivability of a ZR1 trans with 4.10s compared to a Z51 trans with 4.10s?

Hope this isn't a dumb question...but what TR6060 internals were upgraded for 2010?

Hi, actually there has been 4 versions since 2008, but only i the TR6060 not the Magnums...

Gears
Synchros
Some Shifting Improvements, but we do even more...

The 2011 Corvettes have a few of these upgrades, but not any of the Carbon blocking rings 1st-4th...

I have a 2012 GS and not real happy with the way it shifts (and feels)....especially when it's cold. Not as smooth or as positive as my old C5. Is this normal for this year, would changing the fluid help?

I would prefer having the taller Z06/ZR1 gears if this would be an easy swap.

Thanks,

Hi hisvett,

I bet it feels notchy, and very stiff especially when its cold...How many miles do you have on it..?? Changing to our New Fluid may help alittle...But it want fix the underlying problem...and Yes we can build you one of our upgraded units with either ratio you want...I will check but I'm pretty sure the cost is like $2895, and it will be perfect for you...call me...

Yes most of all the OEM TR6060's have shifting issue's...Please remember that Tremec only builds them to GM's spec's for the OEM GM Stock vehicle's, also that GM gets its inventory from Tremec sometimes 1 1/2yrs-2-3yrs ahead of time for most of these vehicles, and more often than we know about they can be even older than 3yrs or just the First Versions like what come in the Corvettes and Camaros...but basicly this is what happens will All the Big 3 Car makers...

Example:: I saw a report on how few 2010 Z06's were made...The final day of production for 2010 Corvettes occurred on June 11...The Hardest hit was the Z06, which dropped an alarming 85 percent in sales volume compared with 2009...

So what happens is all those TR6060's sitting at GM from 2010 get installed in 2011's & 2012's...We have done rebuild upgrades for the TR6060's in the 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 OEM GM Vehicles and they ALL are the very First Version that came out in 2008.. They only still have the upgraded Blocking Rings in 2nd Gear...

I hope this helps alittle if not please contact me directly at the number below and I will be glad to answer and help anyone who needs it...

thanks
Mike Yeager

Glad you are only 100 miles away from me. This may be my next upgrade! In the meantime, how beneficial would it be to use your fluid in my stock '07 z tranny?

Hi, I would not recommend using the Special Custom Fluid for a stock tranny...I would recommend using Royal Purple SychroMax...

Let us know when your ready, we do much more than trans rebuilds...

That is the fluid (Royal Purple SychroMax) that I am running in my 08 Z06 trans and it made noticable difference in the way it shifts!!

Im glad that worked out for you.. Since my post in December about Fluid we have changed our Special Custom Fluid to include stock OEM 6spd manual transmissions... So now our Custom Blend Fluid is the best you can buy for 6spd manual transmissions, it has many more additives in it then what Royal Purple SychroMax has to better extend the life of the blocking rings and bearings, it also will help keep the temps down inside the tranny..

Mike,

how noisy will 5th and 6th be when you change their ratios to .8 and .63? I have been told that they will get noisy and just would like to how bad?

cheers.

Do you sell 5th and 6th ratios for the T56?

thnx
