GS Heritage Package - Question
The GS heritage package is supposed to come with fender decals and grand sport embroidery on the head rest. Is it also SUPPOSED to come with two tone seats ? I recently saw a red one that had only black perforated (not two color) seats but clearly had the decals and embroidery.
Was this one a factory mistake or can it be ordered that way ?

it can be ordered now with solid ebony seats. I have seen one as well... All you are getting is the stripes and the embroidery. No two-tone seats

You could actually buy the stripes and the seat bolsters with the grand sport logo on it for less than the factory option based on the sales going on right now thru forum vendors.

yes but then it won't be a heritage package optioned car at a much later date... Options like this I prefer to have original

Ok, I guess if you're planning to shuffle off this mortal coil owning it, then owning the factory option, for much more money, is worth it. Having that option code on the sticker in your glovebox might be worth it. However, if you are planning to sell/trade-in later it won't matter at all. The dealers will still sell it as a heritage package edition.

You are being kind. You could have said that "none" of the dealers would know what was going on and been 99.9% correct. I could probably put decals on my Suburban and convince a dealer that it was a Heritage Edition

Mine has the two-tone seats. If you're unsure about the fender stripes, you can request they not put them on and you'll get them in a box. I sat on the decision for about 4 months and then had the dealer go ahead and put them on. That way I got to enjoy the car both ways! I also had requested that they (the dealer) not put on the licence plate bracket on the front.

When I ordered my 2011 GS, I could have done it anyway I wanted. I specifically didn't want the hash marks, and I wanted solid ebony interior. I also went with the C6 crossflag embroidery on the head rests (not the GS logo). I'm a fan of the GS body and package, but the GS logo just didn't do it for me as a decorative touch.....so Corvette flags and solid ebony (black) interior for me. I also preferred the stock GS wheels...so that's what I got!
Get it the way you want it!

I ordered mine Cyber Gray/ Comp Gray wheels and Heritage Package with red Stripes and Ebony interior with Red inserts, looks great with the embroidered headrests.

Yes but I am curious if you ordered the Heritage Package PLUS two-tone seats. I think Heritage Package does not include two-tone seats unless your also add the two-tone seat option.

So you are getting less for more ? I mean if you wanted only ebony seats (no two-tone) then they should discount the Heritage Package price I think. Two-tone seats are an extra cost option so if you don't want them the package price should be less.
