Default custom exhaust tips

I am looking for some pictures and/or ideas on custom exhaust tips...

I am ordering some new Magnaflow 11236 mufflers (same as 14336, but not polished) and dont really want to re-use the stock tips as I dont care for the look or the restricted inlet size. Or should I go with the Magnaflow thats 2.25" inlet and 2.25" outlet? will it restrict flow, sound different, or create resonance over the above muffler?

The mufflers I want are 2.5" outlet, so looking for a tip with that inlet and maybe 4" outlet...

What length tips did you all use?? I saw in prev posts guys with the Magnaflows used a 35163 Magnaflow tips thats 7" long but its 2.25" inlet and $90... Found a $28 Magnaflow 35131 thats 7" long but 2.25" Can they use a pipe expander to make it 2.5"??

I found the 35136 tips is 2.5" inlet/4"outlet, but only 5.25" long so I would have to have a short piece of SS pipe welded in between. but its only $32

The other option I found so far is an oval tip made by Jones Exhaust... picture below... Any body have or think an oval tip would look good on an c6?

I kind of prefer the dual tips over the quads for the most part. The only exception to that really is the quads that almost fill up the whole exhaust port area... any clues who makes something like that!?

Any suggestions and of course please post pics of your custom tips!
Thanks in advance... Chris

I've always liked the OEM tips. When I installed ARH w/ Dynomax cans I chose to keep the SS quads. Larger tips always impressed me as pretentious.

i hate the quad tips! so first day i got my c6 i got rid of em. i had a stock infinti g35 muffler layin around it has 4'' round tips with 2.5'' inlet. i cut the stock tips off the mufflers and welded on the g35 tips. looks great, looks like cdaniels525's just a lil closer together.
