LOL ! I agree. I got my new 2010 grand sport convertible on April 19th and I have 14,450 miles !!! I love it so much I can't stop driving it. I change my oil when the DIC says to which is about 7,000 miles.
Ok I will see when the DIC shows that I have to change it, the dealer chaged it at 14k and the sticker in the windshield says next will be 17k. I was curious because if they use mobil1 I thought that the oil will last longer than 3k miles. thanks

The guy that put the sticker on, at the Dealership, is CLUELESS.
At least once a year. Otherwise follow the Disc. if expires before the year. Some will change at a predetermined Disc. reading too. That is up to you and your pocket book.

Your dealer is a moron if he installed such a sticker. Your DIC will alert you as to when an oil change is due.
Read your owner's manual; it will give you all the advice you need to know about oil changes...and most other things regarding your Corvette.
Those who change their oil at shorter intervals are wasting their money. Remember, Chevrolet WARRANTIES THE ENGINE.
