Dealer inventories only Grand Sports ??

Maybe I'm missing something but is the only Corvette being produced the Grand Sport? Dealer inventories are pretty much only showing Grand Sports.

I've been shopping for a new corvette and I've noticed a majority of the corvettes on the lots are GS coupes / verts followed by base, and ZR1s. Most of the dealers aren't stocking Z06s..

There were as many GS Vettes produced as regulars and since they cost more they tend to be the ones left for 2010 and were made more of in 2011. The body look and extras has made it a car of more demand.

Your extensive listing that you posted, was all 2010's and I'm not seeing many base Vettes there !

Since Kerbeck and MacMulkin are 2 of the biggies, I thought their inventories reflected the Grand Sport glut...

My local dealer(#5 Corvette dealer) has been stocking primarily the Grand Sport's all year. Presently he has 27 GS's, 3 Z06's & 7 ZR1's. He's buying for stock what he thinks he will sell. I'm sure that if he thought he could sell a dozen base C6's month, his lot would have them in stock. GM is not restricting what the dealer wants to order for stock.

What I have noticed is that there does not seem to be any new Corvette Z06 at the dealers. When Kerbeck does not have one listed...something is up.

I've read elsewhere that only 600 or 700 were made in 2010, so maybe they've lowered production even further for 2011 because of the reduced demand.
