What some of you are missing is that the C6 Grand Sport shares the same calipers as the Z06 which does not have raised lettering. The caliper surface is smooth with painted CORVETTE lettering on the stock units.

I installed "chrome" CORVETTE decals on my painted 2010 GS calipers and they have held up just fine to heat and the elements. Just make sure the caliper surface is clean before you apply them. I got these from fourthcircledesigns.com.

Hard to see behind my ZR1 style wheels but here are a couple of photos.

Just regular high heat paint as far as I know. My auto body guy, Burke Corvettes in Orlando, did the work. They removed the calipers and thoroughly cleaned them prior to painting. That's the secret. I was originally going to have the calipers powdercoated, but they were already doing some paint work for me so this was simpler at the time.

It's just a matter of using the right paint.

I just got mine from them last week for my 13 GS because they are starting to fade a little. I have red calipers so I got two sets, one in white and one in silver just so I would have a choice. I haven't put them on yet but they are a dead match to the oem GM lettering and rings that come on the car from the factory.
