How difficult to remove Clear Bra?
I had a 3m clear bra professionally installed on my 07 when I purchased it new. Just finished a Zaino session and the car looks great, except for the significant 'orange peel' on the hood, and especially the front bumper from the clear bra. There is also a long stretch mark in the clear bra on the front bumper where the installer apparently pulled too hard.
I am ready to get the clear bra professionally removed. How difficult is it and will it harm the paint?

Some films could be different, but typically you don't pull straight up. On a low angle (almost dragging your knuckles on the paint) slowly pull the film. Somewhat like pulling the sheets off a bed. Keep heating to soften the adhesive as you do this.

I did it.
Hi Finster.
I removed a clear bra from my 06. And I learned how not to do it; DO NOT pull it off with out heat!
Heres the link to the thread with my experiences.

If you take your time and do it correctly (use a heat gun, pull slowly...) it will be much easier for you than it was for me.
Nakid' paint rocks !!!

When to remove paint protection film
My installer told me that i should remove and replace the film in 3-4 years. Otherwise it becomes brittle and the glue gets harder to remove.
That makes sense to me since protective film is not really intended to be permanent.
