Just wondering if it's easy to install an exhaust filler panel? They look nice and I'm thinking of getting one.

I had mine installed by the fabricator and I would not call it "EASY" it took 2 of them about 45 minutes. On a GS (with NPP)you have to drop the mufflers and then bend the brackets so that the filler panel fits over the exhaust pipes...... then you have to bend them back until you get the pipes aligned properly. It definitel seemed to go better when they had 2 guys doing it. If you don't have the NPP exhaust I would think it is a very easy install.

I bought one for my 01 coupe a couple of years back from a forum vendor. It went on with double sided tape and took me all of 2 minutes to put it on. With my exhaust on my 05, I don't have room for one so I'm not sure on the C6. Check with some of the vendors. They are a great help.

Easy install on a C6. I put one on my '07 about 2 years ago. Slides over the factory exhaust, has double sided tape and 2 screws. Took about 30 mins. Gets lots of comments

I think from 2008 and later it is more trouble. The factory lowered the exhaust so the exhaust have to be raised to fit the exhaust filler panel. Some sites that sell this have an installation video.

I have an 08 with NPP and it took my fabricator about 45mins or so. He was being really careful so it could have taken a little less time. Also, the one I bought he had to bend the bottom plate a little so that it fit flush underneath. I have the Laser Mesh one.
