Just ordered BFG KDW NT
I have the stock 2008 gunmetal grey rims. I ordered a tad larger size for the fronts and rears. I know the stock GY's were 245/40/18 and rear 285/35/19. For the BFG's I got 255/40/18 and 295/35/19. These should fit the stock rim right? Will it buldge out bad making it look stupid?

don't know about bulging or if they fit stock rims, but speedo may be just a little off.

I researched the $%^! out of tires...
before going w/ what you have selected. They will fit perfectly on stock rims & w/ fender wells, w/ absoultely ZERO clearance issues. If I recall another reason I chose them is the front/rear dia. diffs. were .1" & overall rear diameters were 26.8 or 26.9 for the GYs vs 27.0 for BFGs, so I have to disagree w/ any speedmeter reading changes. Perfect swap & been very satisfied, but have a 450+rwhp car, so now that R-compounds are available in 19" would have gone that route. Although these tires IMO are superior in every way to the orig. Z51 opt. GYSCRF or (EMT), they simply don't hold that amount of power, nor will anything else in the same compound/class.

Hey, maybe it's not noticeable, but there IS a difference in revolutions per mile for those tires.
Z51 GY SC: 245=813
285=775
KDW NT: 255=801
295=769
Z51 GY SC: 245=813
285=775
KDW NT: 255=801
295=769

Please!
Very well let's do the math, rear tires effect speedo, 27" (BFG dia.) - 26.8" (GY dia.) = .2 inches
6 revolutions more per mile x .2 inches = 1.2 inches traveled further per mile
1 mile = 5280 feet X 12 inches = 63360 inches per mile
1.2 inches as % of 1 mile 1.2/63360 = .0000189
60 mph X .0000189 = 59.999 mph adjusted speed for BFGs
Yeah, you're right. Are you kidding? The factory speedos have more deviation.
