Just another reminder to set those DVR's and cheer on Team Corvette as they look to extend their lead in the ALMS this weekend.

As for the Viper, I saw where Tommy Kendall is coming out of retirement to drive it. Will be interesting to see how that goes. Just a partial schedule this year and then full time next season. He seems to be one of the good guys so I hope he does well. Just don't pass any yellow Vettes!

Very interesting...I didn't know the SRT Viper's were starting up so soon. It's good to see more American manufacturers joining in but I'm still pulling for the bow-tie cars.

I think my DVR is already set but thanks for the reminder....I'll check the settings to be sure. It's another great racing weekend with both Formula 1 and ALMS. Naturally, I'm routing for Corvette but I'm really looking forward to the American Viper joining the International ALMS lineup of world-class competition. I like Vipers! 2nd and 3rd wasn't too shabby for Corvette last time but let's hope for 1st and 2nd this week. Go Corvette!

Sure looks like they have a good shot at the championship. Hope they can keep the good results coming.

SVT hasn't said if they'll run the rest of the season or just selected races, but I've seen video of the car testing and it looks and sounds great. I guess maybe I'm a bit confused why the Viper is allowed to run the 8.0 liter V10 with restrictors but the Corvettes had to REDUCE from 6.2 liters to 5.5 and still use restrictors. Hopefully they don't allow SVT a lot of unfair advantages like they did with BMW last year, so we can keep things close. They will be a force to deal with, the cars are being built by Riley & Scott and from the videos look to be pretty buttoned down already.
