RPI ZR1 Spoiler install today.
After the first one broke during shipping(third brake light area)....(not because of poor packaging) received the 2nd one Friday and installed it today.
30 minutes my a$$! While its an easy DIY, it still took considerable time to complete. Thank god I have small hands and can get around easily to tighten the bolts! Did the masking tape and nail polish method and it worked ok. Definitely go with a 5/16 drill bit as a anything smaller you will have to be right on the money which apparently I wasn't initially. All in all looks great and a fairly easy install.
I am a bit concerned about the middle brake light area as its a thin strip. The fitment of the brake light is not as tight and clean as the stock spoiler. I have heard people say tighten the bolts from the ends inward however in doing so this thin strip severly bowed out. I tightend the middle first keeping this this strip in place and then the outer bolts. In doing so the strip stayed in place.
Otherwise a great product and I am pleased with how it looks. Paint was excellent. Shipping was excellent. Customer service was excellent. Thanks again Josh!

that does look great! Did you have to use any kind of foam or rubber between the spoiler and body to fill any gaps? ...I know it doesn't have to be water tight, but I imagine trapped water in there wouldn't be so great either.

Nope....no foam or rubber....fitment is very good. I know it won't be water tight and water should escape easily enough. I was surprised at how dirty it was under the stock spoiler!

I installed my ZR1 spoiler a couple years ago (from Josh) and I think it looks great. It is by far the best looking spoiler of all the C6 spoilers.
