Default part number needed for brake line crush washer

hi guys, 2006 z51. got crush washers from chevy dealer for my connection from the brake line to the caliper, part number 21012386, but the outside diameter of the washers purchased is not as big as the washers that i pulled off (reason for the work is that i am replacing the calipers with powder coated ones). does anyone know if the number mentioned above is the correct one? if it is not correct, do you know the correct number?

thanks,

That is correct part number - used on my 2009 when I installed powdercoated calipers.

thanks, and another question. what did you torque the banjo bolt down to? info i have says 33 ft lbs, which seems too tight for aluminum threads. my son put in after market brake lines on his camaro with cast iron calipers, the the spec was 20 ft lbs.

thanks,

Just checked the 2009 Service Manual and it states 30 ft lb for the banjo bolt. I remember when I did mine I thought it was a lot as well, but the washer needs to be crushed to seal. I tightened mine less first, but they kept on leaking. Tightened them to 30, bled the brakes, and done

I upgraded to stainless steel brake lines and torqued to 13 ft lbs.

the instructions for my son's camaro ss lines was between 14 and 20 ft bls, which seems like a wide range. with the aluminum threads, i like the idea of less, but agree that there needs to be enough pressure to crush the washer to make the seal. did you use the stock chevy crush washers?

thanks,
