New Corvette Color for 2012: Carlisle Blue Metallic
We got confirmation from Chevy that the other new color for 2012 Corvettes will be called "Carlisle Blue Metallic". It's a light blue that is currently used on the 2011 Cruze. It sort of reminds us of the Silver Blue that was on the 1982 Corvette:

So far I'm not feelin' it. Maybe one of the Photoshop experts can put it on a C6.

Unless it looks a lot better when viewed on a C6 I'm betting on it being a one year offering. The color chart posted also has the only black listed as the 'carbon flash'-no longer a standard black-that is not a positive for me...hopefully that was an error.

Ice Blue Metallic for the Cruze is the closest thing that compares with the pic by the OP. Doesn't look bad but it wouldn't be my first (or second) choice.

As long as they don't discontinue these colors everything will be just fine.
