I just wantedto know what isthe main difference between the bb bullets and the borla stinger system.

I have bullets on my 07 and have not heard the stinger system. I can tell you that the bullets are loud with a very noticable rumble at idle. People can definitely hear you coming. There is interior noise associated with them so if that bothers you they aren't for you. I personally love the loud, popping, hear I come sound that they produce.

Borla . . . probably the best mod I've done to date. What the vette should sound like from the factory. Over 4 years with them now and they seem to incorporate the best of the bad azz sound, popping, etc. but without the overpowering drone level that seems to be associated with the Bullets (I'd probably get use to them too though). They just look and sound good.

thanks for that info...my concern on any exhaust upgrade would be the drone since i take 3 hour drives a couple times a month...just figure i would be annoyed by it...do you have any sound clips by any chance?

Nope, but they're around. Just go to the Borla site and they have a great comparo with three levels of theirs from the interior and exterior perspective. I really like their new offering (forgot the name) when compared between the "touring" and "stingers" or "sport". And the look on Borla's face when it drives off says it all to me. The drone is nothing to worry about. Even though I love mine and if I was able currently, I'd change mine out.

aahh sweet....i think the new one is the "fusion"?...something like that...i'll take a look on their site...ive heard a couple clips of stingers on youtube but have never heard a good inside and exterior comparison...

I've had them both. Without a doubt, borla is the winner here. It has a more aggressive tone (not louder) and drones WAY less.

I love my Borla Stingers, even my wife likes them if thats saying anything..

I had both systems on my 06, the Bullets lasted less than 24 hours. And I loved the Borla Sports aka Stingers.

Having said that the new Bullets are toned down from the original versions.

I get compliments all the time on how good my car sounds, even from other C6 owners.

I had the Borla Stingers on my car for about 2 years. The sound was awesome around town. There is some drone at highway speeds when going up inclines and hills. We would also go on a 2 hour trip every weekend. Finally got tired of the noise and removed them. I know my next vette will have npp with a switch.

If you have a 08 & up you have a X-pipe.I got the rear section only.Stingers,i love them,like said above,.,.every one else loves them also.
