Those LED strips that go in the passenger and driver foot wells do make a BIG difference.

Not that difficult at all. Plug and play. The most difficult one I found were the map lights and the hood light that's if your Corvette model year had a bulb under the hood.

The under hood light does seem like a pita, how do you change that one?

Where do you guys usually go for led bulbs. when i had my miata i used to go to bright lights but since i bought the vette i haven't made any changes yet although i am considering a few. Funny thing is the two that are discussed in this thread are the ones I want to do. Anybody have a suggestion for how many led lights per bulb work well per each application?(license plate, reverse light). BTW My favorite mod is corvette mods hid fog conversion which i have purchased just didn't have the time to install yet.

I usually get them from superbrightleds.com they show what led you use to replace each type of light, you enter what type of car and it gives you different options for each bulb on brightness, I usually do 4 LEDs for the side markers and interior lights, their pretty bright.

Lol, yeah they have pretty good deals and usually ship fast, been using them for all my cars I've owned, and they make practically every type of car bulb

m In college we did that. I drove my car over a year after graduation, forgot about it, then got pulled over by a State Trooper. Got a warning and had to remove lights.

I can't wait to see what that looks like. One of the main reasons I changed to LED bulbs pn license plate on my other car was that those regular bulbs get so hot in such a short period of time and drain more current than the LED bulbs. Also it was getting so hot that those factory bulbs were causing some kind of burnt residue to form inside lenses. So switching to LED's that drain less and run cooler made a difference on that. However on the interior lights the factory bulbs put out more light or I can see better than I could with LED's. So I returned the LED's with this car.
With Corvette it was just the opposite in that switching over to LED's looked better and I could see better than factory bulbs as I didn't get that brownish light look.
