Default Bad Service

I just purchased a new 2012 GS from a Houston dealership. They are now trying to give me the run around on some things that needs fixing.

I need a contact to a GM representative.

It's impossible to judge whether it's "bad service" or not without any specifics but no matter....good luck contacting GM.

Give us details, the customer service contact info is in your users manual. That book that comes with your car that no one reads

Without defining "bad service" it's only a personal opinion.

I would talk to a different service advisor the next time you to in. If that doesn't work, I would consider taking the car to a different dealership for service. It sounds like the one you are using has some problem. Maybe they don't care about repeat business. When I bought a new Corvette several years ago the dealer treated me like I was a special customer. You might also consider joining a Corvette club in your area and talking to the club members about where they get service.

I had a problem yesterday with dealership refusing to fix oil pan seepage under warranty. I contacted Chevrolet Customer Service by e-mail this morning. they called and talked with me for one-half hour. They are contacting the dealer. They have scheduled a follow-up call for next week.

When you purchased it, did you receive a "Due Bill" that stated all the things that needed fixing or are these things you found after you purchased the car?

This is common on C-6 Corvettes.
When they replace the gasket do they use the same quality gasket or a better gasket to solve the problem? I would hate to take it back for a band aid fix only to have to return once the warranty is expired.

What are the "some things" you are getting the run around on?

Great! So you come here first instead of Chevrolet.com or the owners manual for info.... let me hold your drink for you.

My deal was, On 02/02/13 I purchased a new GS off the showroom floor. When I get the car home I notice both the driver side chromed wheels are scratched really bad. I send the sales person a pic of both wheels and he responds, I'll take care of it. On Monday 2/04/13, I stop by the dealership and spoke with the sales manager. I tell him about the wheel and a few other minor issues I found. He tells me just bring the car in and they will replace the wheels and make everything right. I take the car in on 2/8/13 with only 20 miles more than when I left.

As you might have guessed, they don't want to replace the wheels. From here things go down hill very fast. I just purchased a car with a MSRP of 79k and you won't replace two factory wheels.... Crazy. I tell them that if the wheels aren't replaced they could have the car back and they needed to get my trade-in ASAP!!!

They scramble off. Ten minutes later in comes the manager. He too tells me they just can't replace replace the wheels. Again I go off again but this time I show him the post I sent to the forum. He leaves a comes back with the finance manager. Their attitude has changed from we can't to what can we do to make you a satisfied customer.

I get new wheels
The other minor things corrected
$100.00 check

Please overlook my errors. Posting from my phone.
