Default Hydrocarbon Rear Diffuser installed!! WooHOO!

I tried to do this in my driveway and gave up after 2 hrs I should have just listened to my forum friends and taken it straight to the shop. It took about 45 minutes on the alignment lift. Much easier this way I think it looks GREAT against my MS coupe.

Me too. Is this a base C6? Have it for ZR1?

Anyone else see the "Anerican Chopper" episode last week where they had some parts hydro printed? Was really neat to see how its done.

HAHA. I will post some more pics later today from a distance!! My pics skillz are terrible though. Also keep in mind pictures do not do hydrocarbon justice. Must be seen in person to appreciate it.
This is my 07 C6 coupe. I also did the Apillars and the windshield cowl is the last piece I am doing. I just hate how the cheap blk plastic parts look.

We can do any rear diffuser or parts in the hydrocarbon finish. Well almost anything. Send us a PM for a quote on anything you do not see on the forum.

appears that finish would be much easier to clean up than a oem

Yeah, that's what we need - screw the carbon fiber...
After paying the "Corvette Tax" every time we buy something, covering our parts with $100 bills might be more appropriate...

Yes just like a painted surface. The stock plastic looks terrible when It's dirty. My next addition will be to install GM mud guards either MS painted or hydrocarbon.

Not only that but you have to put some protectant on the OEM plastic if you want it to remain black. With the carbon ( I assume its clear coated ), just slap some Rejex or Blackfire paint sealant on it when you detail your Vette and you are good to go for another year.

Actually that seems pretty cheap for carbon fibre IMO.

I remember people paying 3-4k for carbon bodywork on their bikes.

Lets not get this confused. This isnt an actual carbon fiber rear diffuser. It's a OEM GM rear diffuser done in hydrocarbon and yes its clearcoated so it makes it much easier to clean and will not fade if maintained properly.
