Does anyone make a splitter similar to the APR splitter that is not carbon fiber? I'm not looking to drop a grand on a splitter, and this is by far the best looking one (to me) for the base C6.

I have gone through 2 splitters on my ZR1 already - the OE one, and a Katech carbon fiber one.

A couple weeks ago I got a fiberglass one from forum vendor Cianci, and it's a great piece.

They also make one for the base C6:

It doesn't look exactly like that APR one, i.e. it has holes in it like the holes in the ZR1 splitter for brake cooling:







I think it looks really good on the base C6, and at $249 it's a lot cheaper than carbon fiber!!!!

Take a look at the bottom of the page I linked above - it says that the ZR1 splitters are $175 in a group buy of at least 5. That's what several of us did for the ZR1/Z06/GS splitter, but I think they'll do the same thing for the base C6 splitter.

So....see if you can get 5 folks who want one and you can save some bucks!!!

with floydsummer the one from cianci and the others that look the same for the base c6 look a lil funny. apr is the best looking design out right now. one of you vendors should make us some more design choices for splitters.

i never seen any that look similar to the apr that are cheaper.

Yeah, the ZR1 splitter looks like junk on the base C6. It sits too far in and looks completely out of place.

Same goes for the Z06 splitter on the base C6.

Both look completely out of place.

The only other splitter that I think looks "ok" is the group 6 splitter, but APR is far superior design. If someone made a non carbon one for ~400ish I'd buy it in a second, as would many others I'm sure.
