Default 2 completely different cars,08 c6,11 challenger r/t

well its time for a back seat and more room so the r/t classic may be in my future. Did not like the camaro or mustang. I drove the r/t auto and I would call it a fun boulevard cruiser.Nice ride for what it is.The srt is a gas guzzler so its out. gonna miss the vette but time to move on. Thanks to all the help and advise from you forum members..cheers

Of the pony cars the Challenger is the one I like the looks of most. Best of luck to you.

This is one retro they got right as far as appearance goes.

My neighbor has a 69 Z28 and a 2011 Camaro RS and while there are some likenesses, they look nothing alike. My wife has a 66 Mustang GT convertible and there too, the new Mustangs look nothing like the older ones. Charger is the same, no where near. Now the Challenger, this one is pretty darn close.

Sucks you have to give up the vette but I think you made a nice choice in the Challenger.

Post Pics (or PM me) when you get it.

I got an 08 Vette and the 2011 392 Challenger IE (#298)! I love both cars but the Challenger gets way more thumbs up, chats at the gas station and stop light stares than the Vette! The ride in the Challenger feels great for a daily driver vs the Vette. I got the auto in both cars. Dodge really nailed it with the A5...down shifts when braking and cornering, very responsive compared to the Vette! Enjoy the Challenger b/c I know I do!

I rented the new challenger w the 370hp 5.7. It's a great car that has the power right where you can use it. I think I personally prefer the 5.0 mustang a little more because of the weight difference, but you do have to flog it a little harder.

The Dodge does have the roomiest rear seat.

I'd go Challenger as well.I hear the 470 HP/TQ automatic version is turning mid 12's at the strip...pretty quick! The stang has been uglified with this latest version. The Camaro never appealed to me at all in it's latest form.My ears did perk up with news of the coming ZL1 at 550 HP,but I'd get a Z06 instead.P.S. THIS REALLY DOES BELONG IN THE OTHER CARS SECTION THOUGH~

I'd get the IE if I was you! I got the white with Viper Blue racing stripes! I've seen a few still laying around! Price range is around $47000-50000! Talk them down and trade in the vette and your in business! I want the "Green with Envy" color too! Good luck

Although, I like the Challenger , that is why the Camaro is so great, it is not supposed to look like a 1969, it is supposed to look like what a 69 would look like if built today. I had my Hugger Orange 69 parked beside a new Orange Camaro SS and they looked awesome together, it really drew the crowds over. I did apologize to the owner for my car hogging the attention over his . J/K

This thread is going well so far.... good luck, im also looking for something with a back seat its tough to find something that will make up for a vette because nothing will. I'm probably going to get something cheap, and by the time the C7 is in its 2nd year illl get 1 again.

I went the other way. Had a 09 R/T and traded for the C6 Vette. The Challenger was nice and comfy but it aint a Vette.. Good luck with your choice.

Congrats.

I traded in my 01 Z06 on an 07 Charger Daytona RT (Plum Crazy). Was fun for 6 months or so, then decided I needed a Corvette again. Traded in my wife's car, gave her the Charger and got my 08. Went from the Vette to the Charger for the same reason...back seat. Then decided one car with a back seat was plenty. Congrats again. Check out lxforums.com for a good Charger/Challenger site...people are really great, like here.
