Default pics of Sioux Falls Corvette show. SD BHC Kickoff.

1st bunchof pics is at Billion Chev. 2nd bunch is downtown that evening. Hot summer nights. It was like a town fair down there. Bands, beer stands, vendors. It was packed with people! We spent 14 hours looking at Corvettes, and meeting/visiting others. What a great time!

Here is Torchsport keeping watch...[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Skinny body Grand Sport?

Very cool story behind it. Basically, it was completely buried for 35 years, under garbage, chairs, a BIG pile of stuff. He had pics of the uncovering. Was in terrible shape. Totally rat infested. Started the restoration on the front. Its beautiful! He ended up with a cooler visual story, by leaving the back half the way it was found. I didn't get to see all the photos, or read the whole story, but got the gist.

Thanks for posting the pics..... it was indeed a good event.

Next year I'm doing two things differently:

1) I already told my boss I'm taking the whole day off so I can get my car down there verses just being a spectator

2) I'm making sure the batteries in my camera are not dead so I can get some great shots as well

Great pictures!

I wanted to drive through there on my way home from long road trip, but ran out of money and time. Maybe next year.

I actually had to roll back home yesterday. Had prior plans. Millville Outdoor National Motocross.
Been a busy week! 3 day Goldwing trip around Lake Superior, then 2 days in Sioux Falls in the Vette, then the races.
Work is gonna be lame next week.

How about some pix of vettes: on Nemo Rd. or in Spearfish Canyon, or in Deadwood, or Custer State Park, or Iron Mt. Road, or at Crazy Horse Memorial, or ......

God, I loved the Black Hills area.

Save the Wave.

The Vette with the "1 of 92" license plate I am sure I saw about 4 years ago at corvette weekend in Eureka Springs, Ar. We were at the War Eagle mill and I remember the plate and color. Small world!

Unfortunately I was not able to make the trip out to the hills with the group. Hopefully others will post some photos from that leg of the week.
