Z51 brake pads
z51 brake pads are same as base c6 correct? they use the same caliper just spaced farther out to fit larger rotor, so they use same pads right. think im gonna get some hawk ceramic pads.

I'm not so sure that is correct. While the front calipers for the Z51 and the base car are the same, the caliper brackets for the Z51 are larger for all 4 wheels and may use a slightly longer pad.
The Z51 rear calipers are different than those on the base car in that the piston diameter is a bit smaller for the Z51; but that would not affect the pad size. But the larger brackets probably do as the pads fit into slots in the brackets. Don't really know, but you might want to check before ordering.

I have the hawk pads on my z51 and I love them ,about 95percecnt less brake dust,no real noise issues and they stop the car fine.

yeah i will order them monday, but i was bored just lookin around some places didnt differ between z51 and non some places said not for z51 or z06. of course the z06 is completely different but im pretty sure z51 uses same pads.
