Default Curious About VIN Number Stampings on Frame

Having owned several show 55-57"s and a 59, GM used to stamp the frame of these cars with the VIN numbers. The stampings were located on drivers side just behind the drivers side door on frame top which was difficult to see unless yu did a frame off restoration.
Was curious if they do that with the current vets and where on the frame the stampings would be. Where else is the VIN number located besides on the drivers dash?

Just curious.

The VIN is etched on the frame in the engine compartment on the passenger side frame rail. It is just aft of the radiator, vertically etched on the frame.

Other locations are driver's side dash, Engine on top of the cylinder head, driver's side rear and Transmission just above the pan.
