Default I like my naked body

Wax free that is. Never been a fan of all the extra work.
Kudos to you guys, and gals that do wax. I just never can find the time. No problems washing though. I've always been satisfied with a good bath.
5,000 wax free miles on my '11 GS. I'm still in love!

The only thing I use is Meguiars Deep Crystal Car Wash, a micro-fiber sponge, and a little Southern & Seven.

Looks good, but you don't think your paint will suffer in the long term?

I have thought that. But I have a ten year old car, with 40,000 miles, that has never been waxed, and it still looks brand new.

I was trying to come up with come back for that thread title, but I'm at a loss.

That Grand Sport is looking

Maybe we could get you to take baby steps and try a little tire dressing.

honestly, the easiest is the turtle wax spray wax. you don't even have to buff it. it's the lazy mans wax spray wipe, walk away.

meguiars or however the fek you spell it QuickWax is way too hard. spray, rub, then rub again. that extra rub is only good in the bedroom. on a car it's just a waste.

when you cruise with the top off and windows down and you let the left arm dangle out the window you'll find yourself feeling how smooth the car is with the wax on it. it's good

You could hire someone to 'detail' your car. I'm far from a wash & wax fanatic but I do like to see the water bead-up and the finish shine. In time the do nothing protocol will take it's toll. To each their own.

It is good looking. The funny thing to me is, if you had posted you had just used Zaino, Rejex, or whatever, you would get a lot of positive responses saying how great it looked, and what a great product you used.

Thanks guys.
Local Corvette show tomorrow. I don't "show" mine, but it was full of bugs.
I go to the shows to socialize, and
www.corvettespecialties.com for anyone local not in the know.
