Default Tommy MacMulkin

This is my turn to heap some praise in Tommy Thompson, Jr and MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua, NH.
www.macmulkin.net

I wanted to move from my 2005 triple black vert into a 2012 Centennial Edition GS vert.
My local dealer took my order and the order stalled.
Thanks to some good people on here, I found my local dealer did not have an allocation.

So, I made a call to Tommy, Jr.

In my 63 years, I'd never bought a car from a distant dealer and had many questions.
Tommy was patient with me and explained the process along with giving me a VERY aggressive discount.
He also took time to suggest the best way to maximize the selling of my old Corvette which went to a great couple near here.

I placed the order, sent him a small deposit and the order was built and delivered in normal time.
Did I mention the VERY aggressive discount?

It is not often you can recommend a car dealer, but if anyone on here is interested in a
new Corvette at a rock-bottom price, you really need to at least talk to Tommy.

Look what I got in 10 weeks start to finish...

You didn't mention the VERY aggressive discount. What was the discount?

Right at $10,000. I was quite happy with that.
My Houston dealer would only sell for $500 over invoice.

He is a 100% car guy.

Think of a guy who loves Vettes, and will do everything to make sure sure your car is 100% perfect.

Make sure to give him Perfect Score in GM Survey.

i bought my 2008 C6 JSB from Ron Ignelzi and Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin a year ago. I live in Nova Scotia, so the deal was done over the phone and lots of emails and pictures exchanged. I flew from Nova Scotia to Boston, Ron picked me up at Logan Airport and I picked up the car. The car was better than Ron and Tommy Jr had described. The entire transaction was flawless. And unlike many other dealers, there were no surprises or extra fees (no fees for advertising, marketing, documents, temporary permits, etc.). No hassles of any kind. Why can't all transactions be like that?????

Without a doubt the best car buying experience ever. Highly recommended.

Many threads on here about satisfied customers of Tommy Jr. and Ron.

I am very happy to be one of them.

Congrats! You got a beauty.

Like many of the above stories, I bought my 08 vert, 10 Equinox (2) from Tommy. I had a terrible experience with a big Jersey corvette dealer, they just would not deal over the phone...then I was directed to try Tommy. ONE call...and the deal was done. Great price...no sudden changes, fees or anything. Did I forget to say..he BEAT that other dealers price first by a nice sum right off the bat. He wants to be Number one in the country and I think he is going to do it too...and soon.

Congratulations on your new ride. I had a similar experience with Tommy Jr. Did everything over the phone in one day. Got the best price with no hidden costs and picked up my new CR Grand Sport coupe in July.

I just bought my second 2011 Grand Sport from Tommy. This transaction was even quicker and smoother than the one in May. The paperwork should arrive here by FedEx today, and then I'll just wait on the delivery by Intercity Lines. Tommy is very easy to work with, or I wouldn't have bought two new ones from him within 5 months.

Tommy is very courteous, respectful, polite and professional

Some forum dealers can start to get aggressive if u push on pricing or detailed invoice/holdback questions

IMHO when u are dropping $50k+ you deserve to be treated well no matter what the financial question.

Thats what sealed it for me. If a dealer is harsh from step one, walk.

Tommy knows how to close.

I am working with Tommy right now.
Of the 6 dealers I've contacted, I heard back from 3.
Of those 3, Tommy has been the most courteous, and helpful.

My local dealer even threatened me with "if I don't make a decision today..."

I've only communicated through email/PM's with him, but he's been the most up front and helpful.

The only thing that will muck this up for me is having to sell my Mustang.
