SOLVED. Moved switch forward about 10 times, backwards 10 times, then moved all seat controls up, down, back, and forward.

Pure Luck. After reading several forum post about C5 users rapidly moving the switch forward and then backwards, I tried that on my C6 and it didn't work. Further reading states the steering wheel movement and the seat movement are somehow linked together. I went back to my car, rapidly moved the steering wheel switch backwards, forward and then all the seat controls. Back to the steering wheel and BAMM it moved in both directions.

That's just evidence that the connectors under the seat are loose.....very common issue. Would be a good idea to get at them, take them apart and plug together securely again then use zip ties to hold them together, like Les did below.

I used ZIP ties pulled tight with pliers.
