Does Fiberglass dent or dimple?
I think i got my first ding !
In front of hood I have a spot that reflects a shallow dimple only at certain angles.
Closer inspection has a pin dot in clear.
It was either a rock on highway or an Acorn. I was parked near a tree at a car show and saw tiny Acorns (maybe pointy side hit?)

Just so you know, if it is a "normal" C6 then it is actually made of.......
SMC, or Sheet Molded Compound, panels were produced from 1973 to the current C6 model. SMC panels are created from heated high pressure molds that compress a mixture of fiberglass, resin and catalyst. This new process creates panels that are much smoother than press molded panels, provide tighter tolerances and a superior finish.
It cracks, or it can get a chunk knocked out of it, it doesn't dent, but it does gouge.

Its probably been there from day 1, and you just noticed it.
When my car arrived on the enclosed transport, not only did the driver go over it..but so did I..my neighbor AND my wife. It was flawless- at the time.
Next morning, I open the garage door..and there it was..a very shallow scratch at the fender. It was just the way the light hit it. Overlooked by 4 people.
Anyways, it came out..but my point is sometimes stuff stays hidden because you don't know any better. Once a "flaw" is uncovered, your eye is always drawn to it for some reason.
