Dead Almost Battery?
Has anyone experienced an almost dead battery? The door opened, I got in, tried to start, and it said: No Fob detected. Door wouldn't open but thank goodness the window went down. I had to crawl out the window head first. My first time. That alarm really discharges the battery.

Why did you not just pull the door handle release? There is one beside each seat.
This is a problem that has been reported many times. I myself had the battery placed under warranty when it was just over 2 years old and my car is a daily driver.
Do a search and you will find alot written about it..

Did you try placing the fob in the slot in the glove box before starting the car?
I'm guessing that if you didn't know about the manual door release, you may not know about this either.

It may be time to look at replacing the battery. If you have an early 2007, the battery's getting close to 5 years, better to replace it early than to get stranded some place. Or even worse, to have someone see you crawl out your window!

Thanks alot! I appreciate the information.
I don't drive the car often enough lately because of pollen allergies. I drove it tonight and really enjoyed it. i didn't know about the manual door openers. I'm learning though....Thanks!
