Default St. Louis Cards - Corvette

The MVP of the World Series (David Freese) was just awaited a brand new Corvette from Chevrolet... Although I am a diehard Yankees fan, congrats to him...

Maybe now that the ball match is over, the Skwerlhuggery will fade also! That whole "Rally Squirrel" was a bit weird and troubling. . .
Skwerlhuggery does have a dark side . . . http://www.scarysquirrel.org/religion/2012/index.html

I have to wonder if it's a very big deal getting a free Corvette, considering the paycheck he probably makes. A Vette might be a step down for him.

To put it in proper perspective, I wouldn't get very excited if someone gave me a Geo Metro.

The winner usually gives the car away. Good write off.

You may not have to trade. He's a free agent. Although NY doesn't need a 1st baseman, NY could trade Mark Tejara (or whatever his name is who plays 1st for the Yanks) and sign Albert.

I've always thought the same. These are guys pulling upto $20 million a year + off the field endorsements. A $50k car isnt as big of deal to them, as it is to us. Chances are they already have all their dream vehicles parked at home and dont even have enough time/desire to drive those. I bet they dont drive it and sits in a garage somewhere, or they give it away as a charity/tax write off or even possibly let a family member/friend hold on to it.

Whether he drives it or not, its still great advertising by GM.. and much more efficient than other forms of media advertising. Look at how many people were watching Game 7 of the WS. And how many people saw a shiny new Vette on the field. Considering MLB's target market.. it was the perfect audience which to promote the Vette to. While I doubt the experience had everybody running to dealerships this morning to get one, I'm sure quite a few people watching did have the thought cross their mine: "Damn that's a really nice car.. wouldn't mind having one myself".

Well David only makes $438,000 and looks like it was a ZO6 loaded...the question should be is the vanity plate in Missouri is available -MLB-MVP..if you remember in 2006 the short stop of the Cardinals won the
MVP and a Vette. He turned around and gave the car to his brother as he like Truck's better , plus he was short...
