Default Don't qualify for the $3,000 certificate? Maybe you can still get $2,000!

This info may have already been posted but its good info so I'll put it out there again.

Most of you are aware that if you are on the GM Manifest list for the TIMR or TIMC you get a $3,000 rebate on a new Corvette on top of what ever deal you make with your dealer.

Most of you are also aware that if you currently own a Corvette and have it registered, you may qualify for that $3,000 even if you are not on the manifest list.

However, I have spoken to many of you who are not on the list and currently don't have a Vette (which is why they're calling me) and are upset that they don't get the $3,000 rebate.

Now, GM is offering another conquest rebate!

If you currently are in a lease of a 1999 or newer non-GM vehicle, Chevy will give you a $2,000 rebate when you purchase a new Corvette! You do not have to trade the lease car in to get the rebate!

This program can not be combined with the $3,000 TIMR or TIMC rebate, its one or the other.

To qualify, you must give us a copy of a current lease coupon/statement as well as a copy of the current registration of the vehicle. This can be transferred to anyone in the same household with proof of residence!

With GM offering all of these great programs and Kerbeck giving awesome discounts, it's a great time to look at a new Corvette! Call for more details on pricing and eligibility!

Dave,

Could you clarify what if anything is left of the pre Oct 31 Corvette loyalty incentive. I have a car that was built on the 31st and invoiced on Nov 1st. I had a valid loyalty certificate for owning a 69 Corvette. I have been told that that program is no linger available but this thread and Kerbecks website contradicts that by stating that the Corvette loyalty rebate has been extended. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info Dave. But as I read this, it applies only to leased vehicles?

Everything was extended to Jan 3, 2012. Have your dealer check it out.

TIMR and TIMC stands for Target In Market Retention and Target In Market Conquest. These are mailing list that you have to be on to get the $3,000 rebate. However, if you current own a Corvette and have a valid DMV registration for it you are automatically added to the TIMR list and get the $3,000.

The $2,000 rebate is only for leased, non-GM vehicles.

Can you get GMS pricing and still use the $3,000 TIMR?

There is no more GMS. It's either Supplier or Employee. If it's Supplier, our standard discount is already well below that. If it's employee pricing, our standard pricing is probably a few hundred more but you can use the $3,000 with our pricing.

Hello,

A clarification that might be of help to others:
The Corvette Owner Retention Program expired on 10/31/11.
A certificate issued under that program is no longer valid. If a dealer submits for the incentive using the expired certificate number the incentive will not be paid.
The new programs are Target In Market Retention and Target In Market Conquest.
Your selling dealer can check the GM manifest to see if you are on either of these lists. If you are not on the list then you won't qualify.
The Corvette Owner Retention Program allowed a dealer to request a certificate for any Corvette owner upon proof of ownership.
The new programs have no provision for requesting a certificate if you aren't on the manifest list.

Also note that you cannot combine a private offer with another private offer as stated by Dave.

Have a great day.....

Just to verify that I am assuming correctly:

1.) I lease a 2010 Mercedes AMG...I would qualify for the $2,000 on a 2012 Corvette, correct?

2.) Also...I understand there is there still the $1,500 dealer cash, correct?

3.) Can I combine both?

4.) If I can combine both, can I also combine the Credit Union Member discount?

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Are these new programs for corvette only or apply to other GM vehicles?

Yes you get the $2,000. Yes, the dealer cash was extended. That is money to the dealer, not the customer so its up to the dealer if he wants to combine them or not but there are no restrictions from GM preventing it.

No, you can not use the Credit Union purchase. The Credit Union plan and the Lease Conquest are both considered "Private Offers" and private offers can not be combined. However, all the credit union plan gets you is Supplier Pricing which you should be able to easily beat with any forum dealer.

Yes, for most vehicles, but not all. And the amount varies based on what car you are purchasing.

If you let me know what you are looking at I can tell you what the rebate is.

Actually, I'm not sure if Ken is mistaken or if his post is just a little mistaken, so let me clarify.

The Corvette owner program ended on 10/31/11. However a new program is in effect with the same criteria.

So, if you are on the TIMR or the TIMC list you get it. If you are not on the list but you currently have a valid registration for a Corvette in your name than you get the $3,000.

You can not combine that with other private offers like the GM Card Round Up Bonus or Credit Union deal.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!

Great deal for those who own corvettes, I sold mine in June , but one would think GM would want to broaden the market by offering a comparable incentive to those not owning vettes. Like me

Default One more twist

I received today , by email , a private offer with a certificate number for $3000 on a corvette.

i also own/ have registered two corvettes.

I also suspect i am on the TIMR manifest.

how do these offers coordinate.how many can i use?

do i qualify for corvette ownership for $3000, the private offer via email of another $3000 and then the dealer cash of $1500 on a 2012( if the dealer is willing)?
i also have GM credit card dollars as well.

The certificate you got in the mail is a TIMR certificate which is the same certificate you would get for owning a Corvette. They can't be combined so you only get the $3,000 once.

You also can get the dealer cash if the dealer gives it up.

You can also get your GM Card points but not "bonus points" if any are being offered. Chances are there aren't any on your account right now because they try not to make 2 different "Private Offers" to the same person.

By coincidence I got an email certificate today as customer retention but was on $1500 on avalanche or $3000 on corvette and escalade. No $2000 though.

Quick Reply: Don't qualify for the $3,000 certificate? Maybe you can still get $2,000!
