Default SS Vette Pro Pics Extreme Body Kits

Hello Corvette forum My Name is Don Claus. I own SS Vette inc. a custom design, tooling and manufacturing company. That SS Vette with a few select company's. about myself I bought my first corvette in 1982 it was a 1980. I custom built small fender flairs on her but they still looked factory. When I design something I don't try to redesign the creativity of the motor companys. My design is a more aggressive look to whats already there. I ordered a 07 Velocity yellow Z06 in late 2006 to start a custom body kit company. My C6 3" and 1 1/2" body kits were inspired by the classic corvette race cars of the 60s and 70s to add more as a aggressive OEM look.

I would like to thank all my customers and the shops that have built these extreme corvettes across the globe using SS Vette inc designs and products:

Jason at Supervettes and Wayne and Laurelle at Top Flight Auto Restoration for there many builds together,

John at Kelly Performance for the great looking matte pearl white Supervette he did for Jason.

Jason at Supervetts offers the ZR6X one of the best packages I have seen on a corvette.

Jack at The Platinum Group in Los Angeles for the Twin turbo owned by Jonathan Stubbs shown at Sema 2011.

Gregory Dabney's extreme corvette built at Raymond Chevrolet GA.

Tom Wooten's extreme corvette

added custom louvered fenders to his extreme conversion built by Ross Downing Chevrolet.

Bill Mcpherson Staten Island NY convertible built by myself at SS Vette.

The cars in this posting are:

Dave's Red Turbo corvette built buy SS Vette, Top Flight and tuned by Kelly Performance.

Jose's Cyber Gray ZR8X Supervette built by Top Flight Auto in West Palm Beach

Ray's blue twin turbo Supervette built by Top Flight Auto in West Palm Beach
also to the many more customers and shops that are not name in this thread..

you can email me at ssvetteinc@yahoo.com
I will answer your post on Monday 9:00 am or so
injoy the photos sincerley Don

Thanks

Don designer and founder of SS Vette Inc

Beautiful paint, but the flared fenders just don't do it for me, looks like something you'd see on a car with velvet and fuzzy dice.

Default SS vette

Don also built my ss vette, and I was the first to have his 1.5 kit. I've got nothin but good to say about him. I get asked all the time about my ride, is that the new vette? Nope it's an SS vette.

paint is nice, buy if you are going to design it anyways, design a whole new rear quarter with extentions and a new rear facia to match it with a factory style flare instead of just patching this HUGE flare to the side of the car,

looks like a 100lb woman with "J LO" hip implants, pretty tacky IMO, not much different then this guy.

Well, the same thought process has created the most dominent, and prolific racing program in History.

We can tell you for a fact, that this last week, during SEMA week, some of the most well known corvette designers, and Corvette racing were drooling over SS vettes design.

SS Vettes 1.5" kit has dominated the market, gaining the attention of GM marketing and licensing. We at TPE are pretty sure your opinion in the exception, and not the rule.

This kit is of really good quality, but it is one of those things where some are going to hate it or love it. IMO i really love it, to me it brings the curviness back to it like the old c3's. Its funny now that ive been working on smooths (father in-law) i look at others and feel that the reg fenders look out of place

I was one of the first to purchase Don's 3" original wide body kit! I've loved it from day & I still love it just as much today!!! With pretty much every vette looking the same these days I knew I wanted to seperate myself from everyone else's.
