Just Got My Powder Coated Calipers
I had my calipers done by Mike The Powder Coater. I tell you what his Customer Service is the type that all who do business should go by.
He did an awesome job on my calipers and the turn around, is just great.
I will share what I did to keep the brake lines from leaking at all. I tried using the bolts recommended with the old crushed washer, but no luck. So I went to Lowes and found some rubber cone shaped corks. They were perfect and no leaks at all. They went for about a week this way till I got my Calipers.
I called my mechanic to verify the torque specs and this is what he told me from the repair manual.
Caliper Bolts 129 ft Lb
Brake fluid line bold 30 ft lb
I even call the dealer I bought the vette from and the service dept vette machanic said the same thing.
I used my new torque wrench and no problems.
Here are some picture.
Painted the Rotor Caps with High temp Duplicolor Spray paint.
Waiting for the Calipers to arrive.
Finally arrive !!!!

No I did not mask it off! I just drove it slowly and applied the brakes and the paint is gone. I had asked and was just suggested to do it this way. No problems at all.
I just concentrated the spray to the caps and a some got on the rotor surface. I know others have masked it off but someone I trust just told me to do it this way. All the over spray has come off.

Take pictures of how things go back on when you reassemble!, Like the caliper brake padlets, their orientation. I just did not pay to much attention to these small details and it took me a little longer to figure it out.
Good Luck

Never heard one bad word about Mike or his workmanship, ever.
Money well spent IMO, IF, one wants an original equipment looking colored calipers.
Yours look fabulous against silver, that's for sure. Really gives the car a refined appearance.
