Default Hot Wheels 1:12 C6 (lots of pics)

This is an '05 that looks identical to my real '05 except for the wart and the rear spoiler. I even made my own license plate. The detail is amazing. All stickers under the hood can be read. Even one on the door jamb. It's 14" and weights about 5lbs. One of the coolest things I think is the rotors actually turn inside the calipers. A little disappointed that the roof doesn't come off but no big deal. $100 on fleabay.

Your not fooling me, that is that program you used that made real life pics of cars etc look like tiny little toy cars etc. Not sure how you got your car upside down tho..............

Thats cool! You need to paint the "Corvette" rear bumper letters.

That is some very good detail for a model car.

When I bought my 2005, LeMans blue with Cashmere I was able to purchase the exact coupe and convertible in the 1:12. What was neat was the first two C6's produced were LeMans blue with Cashmere. The black convertible top comes off but as you said the targa top of the coupe does not. Enjoy your little C6, I certainly do--eddie

I bought two of those 1:12 models in black when first available with the idea of painting the interior red on one of them to match my car. (the black model has cashmere interior) Once I seriously looked at what was involved I decided against it-just too many small detail pieces that would be almost impossible to mask off correctly and the carpet would need to be changed as well. I also have the silver/ebony interior coupe and convert versions that were initially offered through one of the car mags-C&D or R&T-if I recall. Nice models, but I agree the roof should be removeable. At least those of us with '05 'base' cars have models available-not much has come along for the 'Z's or GS.

I also have one of these...mine in LeMans Blue. I forget what I paid for it back in '05, but I think it was also probably at the $100.00 mark.Mine is #0016 of 2500. It's pretty cool, I think I'll keep it!

I'm liking it, looks good, some decent detail there. Unfortunately wrong year, wrong model, wrong color for me I'm still waiting for a '10 on Grand Sport coupe, preferably in Cyber Gray), but color can be changed, and would also love a model of the current ALMS GT2 car, both preferably in 1/18 scale. I think a good number of us are waiting for the GS and GT2 models, I wish the manufacturers would get moving on that.

Does it have to be left in reverse to keep the battery from draining?
