Default While Car Is Still Wet...Spray it with Quick Wax!

Here a while back I read where someone was doing this so I tried it, it works great. Thought I would pass it on in case you guys had not tried it perhaps you might give it a try and like it.

Just use your leaf blower or Master Blaster to blow some/most of the water off(after washing), then mist the whole car with your favorite "Quick Spray Wax". Then dry the car off with a high quality microfiber drying towel(large one).

I have done it several times now, love it. Its even better than Zaino() Try it

Bert

I agree, I bought some Griots spray on about a month ago and couldn't believe how good it worked. Saves so much time.

I have used Griot's products for years and I think they are great.

Its a great idea to remove the excess water off the surface and then spritz the finish with a detail spray or spray wax before final drying by towel. Its adds some extra lubrication to avoid swirls and scratching and commonly reduces any streaking noted when using detail sprays on dry surfaces. Still notable outcome too ...

I take a quick drive up to the corner and back, about 1/2 mile, works to get just enough water off.

I have found that products such as Quick Detailer and Final Inspection work well if there is a good coat of wax on the vehicle. If there is no wax, then the Quick Detailer and Final Inspection products tend to streak and do not work as well.

Would Meguiers Ultimate quick wax work? I know it does not have as much lubrication as the regular quick wax.

It does. I use that exact product EVERY time after washing while I dry the car with a microfiber towel. Great stuff.

I used to use this stuff a long time ago, until I noticed that it left a buildup on the paint in certain spots... and this was with a white car. I had to really scrub the car to get this stuff off.

Do you guys have concerns about buildup with spray waxes?
