Wanted to share my experience with this... I just purchased an 08 Z with the Navigation / single disc CD / MP3 player (3LZ package), and I experienced the same issue on Nav disk 4.0 (2 disks). Basically, the player would only display ~20 tracks or so, and only play 2-3 songs over and over again, even if you tried to press a different one of the 20 tracks. This was on a disk that was burned with 127 songs via Nero (like the OP). I tried burning another disk with the latest iTunes (same songs) as was suggested in a prior post, and the player seems to recognize all the songs, and has played the songs consistently so far. I haven't gone through the entire disk yet, so this isn't a 100% confirmation. But so far, so good. Definitely an improvement.
